Malaysia International Cat Show (MyCats) 2007
Feline Society of Malaysia (FSM) is proud to host the biggest cat show in Malaysia history, the Malaysia International Cat Show (MyCats) comprising 8 CFA All-Breed Rings, 2 CFA Specialty Rings (Longhair & Shorthair Specialty), CFA Junior Showmanship Competition and for the first time, Malaysia will host the very first CFA Feline Agility Contest (more info on Feline Agility, click here) in the Asia-Latin America region.
The show was held from November 23rd to 25th, 2007 at Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur. This is certainly 1 big show I ever involved and also would be my last time involvement. The crowd was certainly enormous throughout the 3 days show.

The queue was extremely long till outside of the show venue!!

Bees of cars outside the show venue…

Here is Pheobe Low (HKCLS) came all the way from Hong Kong to help us on the CFA Ambassador Program. Basically she will advise the walk-in spectators on CFA shows. Thanks a lot Pheobe for your help!!!

How was the show?

The show was spectacular n thank god there r no major hiccups with all those logistic problems. I had to work like mad for the 1st 2 days of the show till I had no time to actually enjoy seeing other beautiful cats. There were a lot of people came and see this show. I will try to put up some pictures as soon as possible.

You don’t hear about cat shows as much as dogs shows. It seems like it must be harder to do…but congrats to those who can pull it off!

Hi Veronica,
Yes, there ain’t many cat shows compare to dog shows. We would be lucky to have 2 or 3 cat shows in a year.
